Code of Conduct for Learners
Respect
Respect is a condition of mind, an attitude of proper consideration in which we honour ourselves and others. Self-respect means that we take care of ourselves, both body and mind. Learners and educators will come to school neat and clean. They will show respect for each other by coming to class on time.Educators in particular may show respect by planning challenging lessons and regularly planning or assigning home-work for what is learned the classroom. Learners will co-operate fully and make the best efforts to participate in classroom activities.
Relationship
Our school is running for the sake of all. This requires co-operation where no one is abandoned and where we all belong. That we do not exclude through our talk or actions, and value the welfare of community above our own individual concern. To be tolerant of each other's differences. i.e. race, gender Sexual orientation, religion and languages
General
1. Learners are expected to be loyal to the school and to uphold the honour of the school.
2. Learners are expected to carry out, promptly and willingly all instructions given to them by members of staff.
3. Learners are to assist in keeping the building grounds of the school neat and clean.
4. No learners may be out of classroom during lessons unless permission is given.
5.Unavoidable absence must be explained by a letter from parent or guardian on the day of return to school. Forgery notes will be considered a serious offence. If absent for more than 3 days a Doctor's Medical Certificate is required.
6. Learners not throw any object to each other or building of school that may damage or cause an injury.
7. No gambling by learners is allowed.
8.Stealing and vandalism will not be tolerated.
9. Attendance at certain school function is compulsory
10. Bulling , physical abuse and assault is viewed as serious offence and strong discipline action will be taken and could lead expulsion .
